Awarded annually by His Majesty The King on the Prime Minister’s recommendation, the King’s Awards for Enterprise recognise exceptional achievements by British businesses. The Profs is the first dedicated online tutoring company to receive the honour in the awards’ 60-year history, joining just 75 businesses recognised for International Trade in 2026.
The ceremony took place on Wednesday 21 October at The Profs’ headquarters in Canary Wharf, where the award was formally presented by the Deputy Lieutenant of Tower Hamlets, Mr Leslie Morgan OBE.

The Profs, established in 2014 with just a £1,500 overdraft, bootstrapped its way to becoming the UK’s highest-rated tutoring provider. Speaking at the presentation, the Deputy Lieutenant of Tower Hamlets, Mr Leslie Morgan OBE, said:
