Husband and wife founded Michigan coffeehouse brings signature draft lattes, organic ceremonial matcha and housemade syrups to West Bloomfield.
WEST BLOOMFIELD , MI, UNITED STATES, October 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. — Seven Sundays Coffee, a family owned specialty coffeehouse founded by husband and wife Chris and Krystal Touma, is excited to announce its third Metro Detroit location, coming to The Boardwalk at 6925 Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield in spring 2027.
The expansion marks another milestone for the independently owned Michigan brand, which opened its first location in downtown Royal Oak in December 2023, followed by its second location in Troy in October 2025.
Built around the belief that every day deserves a little Sunday, Seven Sundays Coffee has established its identity through thoughtfully crafted beverages, quality ingredients, and welcoming spaces where people can connect, relax, and enjoy life’s everyday moments.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring Seven Sundays to West Bloomfield,” said founders Chris and Krystal Touma. “As a husband and wife building this business together, every new location is personal to us. We’ve been fortunate to receive so much support from our communities, and we’re looking forward to bringing something special to West Bloomfield. Our goal has always been to create more than just a coffee shop. We want to create a place people genuinely look forward to visiting.”
A Different Kind of Coffeehouse Experience
Seven Sundays Coffee has become known for its signature Salted Brown Butter Draft Latte, an espresso based beverage infused with nitrogen and poured directly from a draft tap. The result is a smooth, creamy texture that offers a distinctive alternative to the traditional iced latte.
Beyond its draft beverages, Seven Sundays takes pride in making its flavored syrups in house using organic cane sugar and carefully selected ingredients, without artificial dyes.
The brand also serves organic ceremonial grade Japanese matcha, alongside traditional espresso beverages, cold brew, and a rotating selection of creative seasonal drinks.
“Our philosophy is that the little details make a difference,” the founders explained. “From developing our own syrup recipes to selecting our matcha and creating unique beverages, we’re constantly looking for ways to make the experience better. We want guests to taste the care that goes into what we serve.”
A Place for Community, Connection, and Everyday Moments
While quality beverages remain central to the brand, Seven Sundays was founded on something equally important: creating an inviting space where people can feel comfortable spending time.
Whether it’s catching up with friends, enjoying a quiet morning, meeting with colleagues, or taking a break from a busy day, Seven Sundays aims to make everyday moments feel a little more special.
The founders see West Bloomfield as a natural next chapter for the growing business, with its established neighborhoods, vibrant local community, and strong appreciation for neighborhood gathering places.
“We know people have plenty of choices when it comes to coffee, and we never take it for granted when someone chooses to spend part of their day with us,” said the Toumas. “We want Seven Sundays to become part of people’s routines and a place where families, friends, and neighbors feel welcome.”
Growing with Purpose, Staying True to Its Roots
Despite expanding to three locations, Seven Sundays Coffee remains a family owned and independently operated Michigan business.
Chris and Krystal continue to be closely involved in the brand’s growth, beverage development, and overall guest experience, with a commitment to maintaining the personal touch that helped shape the original Royal Oak location.
The company has also expanded beyond its coffeehouses through Seven Sundays Coffee on Wheels, its mobile draft beverage service for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations throughout Metro Detroit.
The new West Bloomfield location is expected to open in spring 2027, with additional details regarding the official opening date, hours, and grand opening celebrations to be announced.
“We’re grateful for how far we’ve come and excited for what’s ahead,” the founders added. “We can’t wait to meet our new neighbors and welcome the West Bloomfield community into Seven Sundays.”
